The 2011 Annual Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) Conference & Exposition (May 22-25th) is about to kick off and we have a quick preview of what's on tap this week via a visual agenda word cloud. With a focus on member firms, management and general learning, this show is on track to deliver a variety of educational content that is vital to legal administrators – a nice departure from the eDiscovery saturated conferences we have gotten used to in our market. Having just returned from LegalTech West Coast and it's heavy eDiscovery focus (except for ILTA's technology-driven advanced IT track), we look forward to ALA's focus on management issues and the discussions it sparks.
