Thomson Reuters has announced that Ian Dinwiddie has been named president of Hildebrandt Baker Robbins, consultants to the legal industry. Dinwiddie is currently Finance and Business Services director of Allen & Overy LLP, where he "has been instrumental in helping the organization grow to become one of the largest law firms in the world in a span of 20 years. His background is in investment banking and asset management, and he has held senior management positions at Guinness Mahon Holdings PLC (now part of Investec) and Dow Scandia Holdings Ltd. He is a qualified U.K. Chartered Accountant."
