For the second year, InsideLegal is producing the Legal Vendor Education program at ABA TECHSHOW courtesy of the ABA Law Practice Management staff and board. The complimentary program will be held Wednesday, March 24, 2:00-4:15pm in the SW Hall/Vendor Track Area of the Hilton Chicago. We are offering 2 sessions – "Working with the Legal Media" and "Utilizing Social Media to Market Your Company" – with each panel consisting of 3-4 faculty, including ABA staff and recognized industry experts. Exhibiting vendor executives and marketing/PR managers are encouraged to attend and will learn:
- How to submit press releases and content that legal editors will read and consider for their publications
- When to pick up the phone and call editors vs. relying on the "process"
- How you can champion your clients' successful use of your technologies
- How you can benefit from social media without being an expert
- What can be gained by using social media monitoring tools to keep up with the legal market
